POSITION SUMMARY

Quick Service Managers are responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of a restaurant run smoothly. The Manager will run the day-to-day operations in one of Mission Yogurt’s Quick Serve restaurants. This includes overseeing personnel, ensuring that the facilities are properly maintained, taking steps to ensure customer satisfaction and overseeing the upkeep of administrative and financial records. This includes the planning and direction all front of house hourly staff, Supervisors, and Assistant Managers in all forms of Mission Yogurt’s philosophy of Customer Centered and Service Centric customer service. They are responsible for the recruitment and training of all Team Members,the Manager will supervise as well as assist in the effective and smooth running of the restaurant, including supporting the company agenda of increasing sales, decreasing labor and food cost as well as control of profit and loss.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managers are expected to deliver great customer service, outstanding food quality, and maintaining clean restaurants. Daily duties include, scheduling of employees, inventory control, cash controls, food safety, and interaction with staff as they help customers at the front counter.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

College or university degree in hospitality preferred. A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirements if the exact education/experience requirements are not fulfilled.

EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must have two or more years prior experience in the food service industry, and guest relations or customer service experience.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Along with experience and educational requirements, managers must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues that arise with both staff and customers.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Previous experience in food and beverage management
  • Management and staff training and development with an emphasis on growth
  • Working ability of inventory levels and cost control
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
